Frank L. Douglas M.D., Ph.D. is a Guyanese American medical doctor. Douglas graduated from Lehigh University, received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Cornell University, completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, and a fellowship in neuroendocrinology at the National Institutes of Health. Douglas taught clinical pharmacology at the Pritzker School of Medicine before becoming a professor of practice at MIT and establishing the Center for Biomedical Innovation.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=People - Frank L. Douglas is currently president and CEO of THEVAX Genetics Vaccine USA and is president emeritus of Austen BioInnovation Institue in Akron and senior partner emeritus of Puretech Ventures. He currently is a member of the Board of Directors of The Battellee Memorial Research Institute and previously was a member of the Board of Trustees at Lehigh University as well as the Board of Directors at the Kauffman Foundation, NitroMed, Gene Logic, and Altanos Pharmaceuticals Holding and was a member of the NCATS Scientific Advisory Board of the NIH.
